Baptism outwardly signifies an inward spiritual reality.

Christ’s Death is Our Death

Baptism signifies that we are united with Christ in his death.

We Have Union with Christ

We share in what belongs to Jesus because we have union with him by faith.

Our Death is Death to Sin

Jesus died to sin therefore we must consider ourselves dead to sin.

We are freed from slavery to sin.

While we will sometimes sin, we are not to live a lifestyle of sin.
