God is Faithful

God has not rejected his chosen people Israel.

If God’s Word to Israel has failed, then we Gentiles cannot trust God.

If God’s Word to Israel has failed, then God is not glorious.

Evidence of Faithfulness

Paul is a Jewish Christian.

God foreknew Israel.

God chooses a remnant by grace.

The argument that a remnant then means a remnant now is only true if it depends on sovereign grace not on works.

2. Pray for unbelievers.

4. Live reliant on God not money.
5. Exult in our gracious God.
6. Believe that you are eligible.
