Let's Argue

V1: There is no condemnation for us who have been justified through faith in Jesus Christ.

How is that okay since we don’t live as we should (ch 7)?

v2: God’s Spirit has the power to lead us into life and make us free from the power of sin which only leads us into death.

v3: Jesus

v4:The goal: that we live by God’s Spirit in a way that fulfills what God’s law rightly requires of us.

A Way that Works

God did what rules cannot.

Incarnation

Our justification and our sanctification depends on Christ’s incarnation.

Atonement

Our justification and our sanctification depends on Christ’s atonement.

God Condemned Sin

God condemned my sin in the flesh of Jesus Christ.

Our confidence in God’s acceptance should be as strong and glorious as our view of Jesus.
