God calls us to live intentionally in God-centered ways.

Living this way is how we redeem the time we are given from bondage to sin into the freedom of a God-pleasing life.

To live wisely—in the way that pleases God—requires us to understand God’s revealed will for his people; we must be people of the Word!

God has given us his Spirit to empower this God-ordained, God-pleasing, God-centered lifestyle.

The Holy Spirit must have control in our lives for us to live the Christian life rightly.

The Spirit-filled live is characterized by:

• corporate, worshipful edification,
• heartfelt, God-centered worship,
• comprehensive, continuous thanksgiving,
• and Christ-centered submission to the authorities in our lives.

To the degree that we surrender our will to the Holy Spirit in accordance with God’s Word, we will be empowered to live edifying, worshipful, thankful, submissive lives of freedom in evil times.
