Christians are not under the Old Covenant; nevertheless, the Old Testament scriptures remain relevant for believers.

We do not honor God by judging more harshly than God.  Rather, we honor God by imitating our Lord who came “…not…to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

God’s truth is not culturally-limited but must be lived out appropriately within in a cultural context.
