You Were Dead

Apart from Jesus, you are dead in the trespasses and sins of your life.  Apart from Jesus, you are spiritually dead.

If you remain spiritually dead, you will die forever.

You Have Died

By faith, you are united to Jesus, and have died with him in his death at the cross.

Christian baptism is a picture of Jesus' death as our death - our death to sin.

Set Your Minds

If you have died with Christ, consider the person you were before becoming a Christian to be "all dead."

If you have died with Christ, consider yourself as responsive to sin as a corpse to a stick.

If you have died with Christ, set your mind on God not garbage.
