Jesus is the light of the world because he is one with God and is I Am.

To have the light of the world, we must follow Jesus.

Having Jesus as light comes from having the life that Jesus gives.

Jesus as our light enables us to see spiritual realities rightly.

Following Jesus is the only way to walk in the light.

Everyone is in spiritual darkness unless they follow Jesus.

There is coming a day when there will be only light, no darkness.

Having Jesus as our light will cause us to see things we don’t like and to see as glorious things that we never used to like.

Those who die in darkness (rejecting Jesus as God and the light of the world) will not join Jesus with the Father in heaven.

Those who die in darkness will spend eternity in outer darkness, namely hell.

Do you believingly follow Jesus and have him as your life and light, now and forever?
